A growing, mid-size Commercial General Contractor with a robust and expanding project pipeline is seeking an experienced Traveling Industrial / Tilt-Wall Superintendent to join our team. What You’ll Do
You’ll lead field operations on large-scale industrial and tilt-wall construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule performance from start to finish. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a willingness to travel extensively across the Southeastern United States and Texas.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all on-site construction activities, with a focus on tilt-wall and industrial projects
- Manage subcontractors, schedules, and site logistics to ensure timely delivery
- Enforce safety standards and maintain a culture of accountability on-site
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients
- Ensure quality control and adherence to plans and specifications
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Superintendent on industrial or tilt-wall projects
- Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and site coordination
- Ability to lead teams and maintain high performance in a travel-based role
- Willingness to travel extensively (projects primarily in the Southeast & Texas)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: Up to $150,000
- Bonus: $10,000 annual bonus + additional project-based incentives + ESOP
- Vehicle Allowance: $500/month (tax-free)
- Per Diem: $75/day
- Housing: Company-paid (direct billed housing, camper options, etc.)
- Travel: Flight home every 3 weeks for an extended weekend
