Remote Tax Manager – M&A / Transaction Advisory
Salary: Up to $170K + Bonus
Location: Fully Remote (Must be based in NY, NJ, Florida, Virginia, Colorado, Georgia, or Texas)

We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager with M&A / Transaction Advisory experience to support corporate and private equity clients through complex buy-side and sell-side transactions.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage buy-side and sell-side tax due diligence engagements from planning through delivery
- Provide strategic insight on transaction structuring and tax modeling
- Analyze Subchapter C and Subchapter K tax matters related to M&A activity
- Review tax provisions in legal and merger agreements
- Present findings and recommendations to executive leadership and clients
- Serve as the primary client contact across multiple engagements
- Collaborate with Partners and Directors on complex technical matters
- Mentor and develop junior staff, reviewing work and providing feedback
- Ensure quality and compliance across all engagements
Qualifications
- CPA or JD required
- 4–5+ years of public accounting experience, with exposure to M&A, transaction tax, or due diligence
- Strong technical knowledge of U.S. corporate and partnership taxation
- Experience working with private equity-backed clients is a plus
- Strong analytical, research, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
